The product management analyst will serve as an investment strategy expert and advocate for the platform. Supporting the Investment Director and other investment team members, the position plays a key role in engaging clients, consultants, prospects, and Loomis Sayles colleagues while learning the intracies of a world-class investment team’s philosophy, process, and investment strategies. This is a hands-on, highly collaborative role with broad exposure across investment, product, and client teams. About the Team Structured Finance Product Management is embedded in a 22-person global investment team based in Boston (20) and Paris (2) that consists of dedicated Portfolio Managers, Credit Research Analysts, and Traders. The team’s $54bn assets overseen (as of 6/30/2026) encompass the global securitized universe (Agency MBS/CMBS, Non-Agency RMBS, Non-Agency CMBS, Consumer and Commercial ABS, and CLO in the US and Europe). The Loomis Sayles Structured Finance Team has a 20-year track record generating strong risk-adjusted returns both in the US and Europe with strategies that span to pure agency MBS, to deep credit structured finance. Job Responsibilities This individual will directly support the Investment Director, working closely with Portfolio Managers, Traders, and Analysts of the Loomis Sayles Structured Finance platform. Examples of key responsibilities and areas of focus: Develop an intimate knowledge of the investment philosophy and process of the investment team, including a detailed understanding of current investment themes being represented within the portfolio, knowledge of all portfolio holdings, risk attributes of the strategy, past and current positioning of the portfolio, near-term outlook for the strategy and performance attribution. Update monthly and quarterly internal content for sales and client service team, including review and improvement of client facing materials. Partner with Investment Director and product marketing to develop and execute product positioning, messaging, and business plans for Structured Finance platform Respond to deadline-oriented tasks such as RFP questions and quarterly consultant DDQs. Collaborate with the RFP team to maintain a standard response library and draft customized responses as necessary Contribute to the creation of white papers, LS Blog posts and other thought‑leadership materials Respond to ad hoc investment‑related questions and analytical requests from internal and external stakeholders. Support sales or relationship managers with additional analysis as needed. Partner with client intake during account onboarding and provide ongoing investment‑related support to client service teams. Facilitate onboarding or other mandate changes such as benchmark changes or Transfer-in-Kinds. Help resolve detailed data, reporting, and compliance‑related questions in a timely manner Take ownership of standing platform initiatives and drive to completion Collaborate with members of the broader product management team to share best practices and improve product‑related processes across the firm Build and maintain competitive and peer analysis across the securitized manager universe in partnership with Strategic Marketing Team. Support fee proposal construction with competitor research and understanding of existing book of business. Support new product and vehicle work end to end, from seed committee materials and business case through launch and initial funding. Own and improve the recurring processes behind everything above. Build the templates, response libraries, and automation that make each iteration more efficient and impactful than the last. Qualifications & Education Requirements 5-7 years of investment management industry experience. Ultimately, we weigh trajectory and motivation over years of experience. Strong fixed income knowledge is required. Structured finance knowledge is preferred. CFA designation, or work towards CFA, preferred Product management skills, i.e. the ability to manage complex projects and successfully implement solutions in a timely manner Ability and interest in developing deep knowledge of investment philosophies, processes, and strategies, including holdings, positioning, risk attributes, and performance Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Hands‑on orientation with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment Relentless intellectual curiosity about markets, clients, and institutional asset management, i.e. an instinct to understand the “why,” not just “what.” Excellent verbal and written communication skills. This role requires turning complex information into language understandable for clients and consultants. Highly collaborative, professional, and self‑motivated individual with eagerness to develop strong judgment, business acumen, and a sense of ownership A mind toward the improvement of processes, including the thoughtful deployment of AI tools to improve efficiency without replacing judgement or understanding. Additional Requirements The position follows a hybrid schedule with two days work from home (Mondays & Fridays) and three days work from office (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays). Loomis Sayles is committed to offering competitive and equitable compensation. The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $140,000 USD. Your starting salary will be based on your experience, skills, qualifications and local benchmarking. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual incentive award, which is based on individual and company performance.
