📢 We’re Hiring – Student Counsellor | UK Higher Education

Griffin Education Group is expanding our Bangladesh team and looking for an experienced, motivated and results-driven Student Counsellor to join us.

If you have experience in UK student recruitment, education consultancy, admissions or immigration/visa services, and you are confident in counselling students and converting enquiries into successful applications, we would like to hear from you.

📍 Location: Remote – Dhaka, Bangladesh

💼 Employment: Full-time

🕐 Working Hours: Monday to Saturday | 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM (Bangladesh Time)

🎓 Experience Required: Minimum 2 years

💰 Salary: BDT 20,000 – 30,000 per month, depending on experience

💵 Additional Earnings: Attractive performance bonuses for successful lead and prospective student file conversions

💻 Remote Working Requirement: Candidates must initially have their own laptop/computer, reliable high-speed internet connection, headset and suitable remote-working setup. Following successful completion of the probation period, Griffin Education Group may consider providing or arranging company equipment and/or additional remote-working support, subject to performance and company policy.

We specialise in helping students explore suitable UK higher education opportunities and provide professional support from initial counselling and course selection through to university application and enrolment.

We are now strengthening our Bangladesh operations and looking for someone who can contribute to both student counselling and recruitment performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel prospective students on suitable UK universities, courses and study pathways

• Respond professionally and promptly to student enquiries

• Conduct telecalling, follow-ups and lead conversion

• Convert prospective students into active application files

• Manage students throughout the application and admissions process

• Assist with applications, personal statements and supporting documentation

• Provide appropriate guidance regarding visa documentation and application requirements

• Maintain regular communication with students throughout their admissions journey

• Update and maintain accurate student information within the company CRM

• Work towards individual and team recruitment and conversion targets

• Support and mentor junior team members where required

• Conduct student information sessions and internal training when required

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UK university admissions requirements and relevant UKVI developments

• Build and maintain professional relationships with educational institutions and other stakeholders

What We’re Looking For

✔ Bachelor’s degree or above

✔ Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience

✔ Previous experience in student recruitment, education consultancy, admissions, immigration or visa services

✔ Good understanding of the UK higher education system and universities

✔ Strong student counselling and communication skills

✔ Proven ability in lead conversion and student recruitment

✔ Excellent spoken and written English

✔ Confident telephone, WhatsApp and online communication skills

✔ Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

✔ Ability to work independently and professionally in a remote environment

✔ Target-driven and proactive approach to student follow-ups

✔ Leadership or team-support experience will be an advantage

💰 Salary & Performance Bonuses

Monthly Salary: BDT 20,000 – 30,000, depending on the candidate’s experience, knowledge and capability.
