Job Purpose The Student Outcomes Manager provides the organisational lead for student outcomes intelligence across Oxford International Education Group's Academic Partnerships Division. The role is responsible for developing and maintaining the evidence base that informs strategic and operational decision-making in relation to continuation, retention, achievement and progression. Working closely with the central Academic Affairs team, the postholder will collect, analyse and interpret student outcomes data; develop and maintain performance dashboards and reporting; identify emerging risks and opportunities; evaluate the effectiveness of interventions; and provide analytical insight and evidence-based recommendations to support both colleges and the central Academic Office. The postholder will coordinate the analytical and reporting elements of Student Success Framework initiatives, ensuring that projects are supported by clear performance measures, robust evaluation and timely reporting. The Student Outcomes Manager ensures that organisational decisions are underpinned by robust evidence and that enhancement activity is systematically monitored and evaluated. Main Duties and Responsibilities Student Outcomes Intelligence Lead the collection, analysis and interpretation of student outcomes data across the Academic Partnerships Division. Develop and maintain divisional dashboards, scorecards and KPI reporting using Power BI and other business intelligence tools. Identify trends, emerging risks, differential outcomes and opportunities for improvement. Provide timely analytical insight to inform strategic and operational decision-making. Performance Reporting & Insight Own the divisional Student Outcomes reporting suite. Produce regular reports for Executive team, Academic Boards and central and local governance committees. Develop benchmarking and trend analysis across colleges, pathways and student groups. Produce an annual Student Outcomes Report evaluating organisational performance, trends and impact. Student Success Framework Coordinate the analytical and reporting workstreams of the Student Success Framework. Maintain the KPI framework underpinning the Student Success Framework. Support the evaluation of student success initiatives and pilot projects. Provide evidence-based recommendations to inform future framework development. College Performance Analytics & Support Act as the principal source of analytical expertise for colleges in relation to student outcomes. Support College / Campus Directors and Academic Directors in interpreting local performance data. Develop bespoke analyses to investigate emerging issues and evaluate interventions. Build capability across colleges in the effective use and interpretation of student outcomes dashboards and reports. Performance Assurance Provide evidence to support college action planning and enhancement priorities. Monitor the impact of agreed actions and interventions. Highlight significant or persistent risks through established governance routes. Network Intelligence & Best Practice Identify and disseminate effective practice supported by evidence. Support the Student Success Partner through analytical insight and evaluation. Contribute to organisational research, sector benchmarking and continuous improvement. Success Measures A mature divisional student outcomes dashboard and reporting suite. High-quality analytical reporting to inform organisational decision-making. Robust evaluation of Student Success Framework initiatives. Timely identification of emerging risks and opportunities. Improved organisational understanding of the drivers of continuation, retention and progression. Positive feedback from colleges on the value of analytical support and insight. Person Specifications Legal status Right to work in the UK Undergo an Enhanced DBS disclosure check or overseas equivalent Qualifications Degree or equivalent professional qualification. Experience and knowledge Experience analysing complex performance data within higher education. Demonstrable experience of developing dashboards, management information and performance reports for senior stakeholders. Experience of Power BI, Excel and/or comparable business intelligence tools. Experience of project managing organisational initiatives or continuous improvement projects. Knowledge of UK higher education student outcomes metrics and the OfS B3 conditions. (Desirable) Experience of evaluating educational interventions or change programmes. (Desirable) Experience of international, pathway or transnational higher education. (Desirable) Experience developing interactive Power BI dashboards. (Desirable) Skills and Abilities Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and identify actionable insights. Personal qualities Excellent written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly. Strong organisational, stakeholder management and influencing skills. High levels of accuracy, attention to detail and professional judgement.
