Studio Assistant - SMG Studio

As our Studio Assistant , you'll be the heartbeat of SMG, supporting with admin and operations, to team onboarding and events. This is a highly visible role, perfect for someone who takes pride in attention to detail and making things run seamlessly. This is a 1-year fixed term contract and requires full Australian working rights. It offers a remote working option, but we do have offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide you could work from. Core responsibilities: Keep the studio running smoothly by managing day-to-day admin, internal communications and documentation. Support with onboarding new starters, helping to set up systems and access, and maintaining up-to-date resources and "how-to" guides. Coordinate travel, events, team activities, and studio celebrations, bringing people together and helping foster a positive team culture. Be the point of contact for team requests; managing tickets, troubleshooting issues, escalating where necessary. Provide operational support through inbox management, expense reconciliation, feedback reporting, and ensuring leaders are informed and organised. A bit about you: You’re highly organised and proactive, you keep things on track and can confidently juggle multiple priorities at once. A people focused communicator, you enjoy supporting colleagues, building relationships, and creating great experiences. Someone resourceful, you’re comfortable working across or picking up tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, Jira. A problem solver who takes initiative, spots opportunities to improve processes, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves to get things done.
