Mullers Solutions is seeking a highly experienced "Subject Matter Expert (SME)" in data product licensing, certifications, and policy/regulatory frameworks to support a strategic government initiative in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The SME will play a critical role in advising, designing, and developing comprehensive data policies and regulations aligned with the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), international data governance standards, and local certification requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and refine data product licensing frameworks and operating models.
Draft, review, and validate data-related policies and regulatory documents.
Align regulatory documentation with PDPL, SAMA, NCA, and other relevant compliance frameworks.
Support design of certification roadmaps (e.g. ISO 27001, ISO 27701).
Conduct stakeholder workshops and provide expert guidance to the client’s policy and data governance teams.
Benchmark against regional and global data protection standards.
Requirements:
8+ years of experience in data governance, policy advisory, or regulatory consulting.
Strong knowledge of Saudi PDPL, international data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA), and certification frameworks.
Proven track record of working with or advising government or public-sector entities in KSA or GCC.
Professional certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPM, ISO 27001 LA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
Arabic fluency is a plus
