Subject Matter Expert | Senior Studio I Salary: $3,000 per course built Location: Remote (USA) Open Until Filled Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design (RMCAD) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) to design and write an online course titled "Senior Studio I," a course geared towards seniors within Fine Arts. The course focuses on the critical interpretation of art. Emphasis is placed on incorporating design elements, material handling, technique, concept development and expression, and in the work’s meaning. In-depth individual and group critique analysis is expected. Upon successful completion of this course, students complete a formal presentation regarding a series of artworks for the senior graduation exhibition. RMCAD seeks an subject matter expert to design and write the course curriculum and ensure it is prepared for launch. Responsibilities: Collaborate with instructional designers and fellow faculty members to develop an engaging and innovative course within a shared timeline Design and write curriculum that mentors and supports students in their creative and technical endeavors, fostering an applied and experiential online learning environment Contribute to the ongoing development and expansion of our Fine Arts program Qualifications: Master's degree or higher in Fine Arts Experience in course design and development processes for online delivery Proven track record of successful experiential and applied approaches to student learning Experience or knowledge of fine arts education at the college level, and proficiency in using learning management systems and online teaching tools to support instruction Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
