Subrogation Claims Specialist

The candidate will work within the subrogation unit to review new potential subrogation claims and maximize recoveries across Auto, GL and Property lines of business. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee caseload of 200-250 claims Resolve subrogation claims by conduction through investigations by obtaining and reviewing all necessary file documentation Prepares comprehensive and detailed subrogation demands Negotiates recovery of claim funds via email and telephone Responds promptly to communications from clients, customers and other insurance companies and/or attorneys File and respond through Arbitration Forums Performs other duties as assigned Skills, knowledge & expertise Possess strong verbal, writing, and analytical skills; Possess strong attention to detail; Possess strong organizational skills; Is proficient in MS Word and MS Excel; Possess the ability to work independently; Function equally within a collegial group depending upon the project or data; Possess appropriate interpersonal skills; and Possess and maintain a professional and consultative demeanor Education and Qualifications The ideal candidate will need to: Possess a college degree At least 5 years of subrogation claims experience Prior experience in claim handling as a desk adjuster or field adjuster preferred Willing to travel upon request Equal Employment Opportunity & Legal Notices Benefits At Davies North America, we are dedicated to supporting the well‑being and future of our qualifying employees.
