Job Summary Mass General Brigham International Patient Services coordinates complex medical care, second opinions, and logistics for thousands of patients traveling from over 120 countries to Boston, Massachusetts hospitals. The multilingual team offers concierge support, financial guidance, and medical interpreters. Summary: Responsible for overseeing daily administrative operations, supervising support staff, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, and optimizing processes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of administrative functions Does this position require Patient Care? No Essential Functions: -Oversee daily administrative functions including patient scheduling, records management, billing support, and front desk operations. -Assist in creating and implementing administrative policies, procedures, and workflows to ensure efficient operations. -Supervise administrative staff, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions. Provide coaching and professional development. -Identify and implement process improvements to enhance administrative efficiency, patient satisfaction, and departmental performance. -Act as a liaison between administrative staff and clinical departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration. -Ensure adherence to organizational, state, and federal regulations, including HIPAA, and conduct regular audits to maintain accuracy and confidentiality. -Assist with managing inventory for office supplies and administrative tools, ensuring cost-effectiveness. -Ensure excellent customer service, address patient complaints, and manage data collection, analysis, and reporting for administrative performance and patient flow. Qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree Healthcare Administration or related field required. Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree?
