Job Description Apply now Job Title: Supervisor, Patient Support Services Division: Patient Business Services Work Arrangement: Hybrid Location: Houston, TX Salary Range: $57,320 to $67,435 FLSA Status: Exempt Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Summary This position supervises the patient accounts receivable process and daily operations. This position also supervises a team of collectors. This ideal candidate should be able to skillfully perform complex tasks required and also mentor and assist others. This position is located at Greenway Plaza with opportunities to work on site or telecommute. Job Duties Supervises Accounts Receivable staff (Team of 14 collectors) . Directly supervises the activities of the Accounts Receivable follow up staff within the Revenue Cycle. Supervisor responsibilities -50% Monitors quality assurance, productivity, and provides feedback to staff. Trains and develops new staff. Completes annual performance appraisals and goals. Reviews, enter, and approves time in SuccessFactors. Documents Human Resources issues. Operations - 50% Respond to inquiries via email from staff, outside partners, clinics or other departments such as customer service, payment operations and coding to resolve issues. Analyzes and resolves problem accounts. Assists in follow up work ques as backup. Communicates trends and issues to management. Participates in the interview process of new employees for the Accounts Receivable department. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or GED. Four years of relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. Work Authorization Requirement: This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
