Supplier Quality Analyst

Benefits of Working With Us Competitive compensation including paid time off and holidays Supplemental healthcare, including prescription and vision coverage Prescription drug coverage Dental insurance AD&D insurance Short-term and long-term disability insurance Employee Assistance Program QUALIFICATIONS : Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred in engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, or related field 2–5+ years of experience in supplier quality, manufacturing, or quality assurance Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (e.g., 8D, DMAIC, FMEA, SPC) Experience working with metals and/or plastics preferred Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence external partners PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES & TASKS Monitor and analyze supplier quality performance for raw materials (e.g., steel, aluminum, copper, plastics) and purchased components. Lead root cause investigations and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for supplier-related quality issues. Collaborate with Procurement, Engineering, and Operations to qualify new suppliers and materials. Conduct supplier audits, assessments, and performance reviews. Develop and maintain supplier quality metrics, scorecards, and reporting dashboards. Support incoming inspection strategies, including inspection plans and sampling methods. Drive continuous improvement initiatives with key suppliers to reduce defects, variability, and cost of poor quality. Ensure suppliers meet company specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. Travel: Position will require travel of at least 25%.
