In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Act as an internal technology expert on designated processes and commodities supporting Emerson global technology strategies and communicate technical product roadmaps. Build suppliers’ understanding of our technical and performance requirements. Develop and maintain consistent quality management processes between all Emerson global factories. Influence design engineers to optimize Design for Sourcing and manufacturability in New Product Development. Lead evaluation and approval of new suppliers and parts through Advanced Quality Planning (AQP), actively resolve supplier-related issues and non-conformances. Drive programs designed to reduce total cost while maintaining quality Who You Are: You focus on creating an effective collaborative style. You prepare content for communication that is impactful. You convert ideas into actions and produce results with new initiatives. You drill down to root causes to gather relevant information.
