Supplier Quality Engineer (BEV Powertrain) RSB Automotive Consulting is recruiting on behalf of one of our clients in the automotive industry. We are looking for an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to join an international project focused on the development of Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV). If you have a strong background in supplier quality management and hands-on experience with electric vehicle development projects, we'd love to hear from you. Key Highlights ⚡ Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) experience required 📍 Hybrid role – 1–2 days/week in the office near Kraków ✈️ Approximately 50-70% international travel across Europe and Asia 🚗 Automotive supplier quality (APQP, PPAP, IATF 16949, VDA 6.3/6.5) 🌍 International project with a global engineering team 🚀 ASAP start preferred Responsibilities Support supplier sourcing, selection, and qualification activities. Lead and coordinate APQP and PPAP processes with suppliers. Drive supplier quality improvements throughout new product introduction and serial production. Investigate and resolve supplier quality issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Support cost optimization and value engineering (VAVE) initiatives. Coordinate supplier audits and ensure implementation of corrective actions. Contribute to continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field. Minimum 4–5 years of experience as a Supplier Quality Engineer within the automotive industry. Proven experience in Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) development projects is mandatory. Solid knowledge of supplier management processes, including supplier and part qualification. Hands-on experience with APQP and PPAP. Experience conducting process and product audits in accordance with IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, and VDA 6.5. Excellent English communication skills.
