The Supply Chain Analyst - Varietal Crops supports the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of the North America varietal crop supply chain. This role partners closely with production sites, quality teams, commercial stakeholders, and planning organizations to ensure a reliable supply of soybean, wheat, and specialty crop products. Serving as a key business partner to assigned production locations and crop portfolios, the analyst leverages data, systems, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize inventory, production execution, quality outcomes, and customer service performance. VISA Sponsorship is not available for this position. Relocation assistance is not offered for this position. This is a hybrid role working in-office Tuesday–Thursday; remote Monday and Friday. Key Responsibilities Supply Planning & Execution: Execute supply planning activities for assigned production sites and crop portfolios. Monitor inventory, production progress, and supply risks to support business objectives. Identify supply constraints and develop mitigation plans to address inventory, quality, and production challenges. Support seasonal planning cycles, production reviews, and operational decision-making. Production, Inventory & Quality Management: Serve as the primary supply chain partner for assigned production locations. Partner with operations teams to support production schedule execution and optimize inventory availability. Collaborate with quality teams on product evaluations, disposition decisions, and risk mitigation activities. Support inventory optimization, end-of-season management, and continuous improvement initiatives. Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action planning for production, inventory, and quality issues. Data Analytics & Reporting: Utilize SAP, Excel, and reporting tools to analyze operational performance and support decision-making. Develop reports, dashboards, and insights related to inventory, production, quality, and scheduling. Translate data into actionable recommendations for stakeholders and leadership. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build strong partnerships across production, quality, commercial, finance, logistics, and planning teams. Coordinate cross-functional efforts to resolve operational challenges and improve supply chain performance. Contribute to projects and initiatives that enhance operational effectiveness and business outcomes. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Agribusiness, Business, Engineering, Agriculture, Operations Management, or a related field. Preferred Experience: Experience in supply chain, manufacturing, agriculture, seed production, or operations planning. SAP or ERP system experience. Experience with inventory management, production planning, or quality systems. Knowledge of agricultural supply chains and seasonal production environments.
