Purpose Provide day-to-day support cross purchasing, subcontract manufacturing and global logistics in order to support the supply chain and its increasing scope. Department Responsibilities The Supply Chain department plays a central role in keeping operations moving smoothly across purchasing, supplier coordination, subcontract manufacturing administration, inventory accuracy, trade compliance and global logistics. As the business continues to grow, the team helps build the processes, relationships and reliable ways of working that support successful delivery for UK, Canadian and US-based teams, Finance, Project Management, R&D, ESG, suppliers, subcontractors, logistics partners and customers, giving this role the opportunity to contribute to meaningful operational improvement across the business. Position Responsibilities Represent Whitefox Blueprint values, standards, and safety culture to customers and external stakeholders during site visits and support activities. Purchasing Prepare purchase orders in SAP ERP based on requests from UK, Canadian and US-based teams. Confirm order details, lead times, acknowledgements and delivery updates with suppliers. Support supplier management, issue resolution and day-to-day supplier queries. Enter goods and service receipts, ensuring accurate purchasing and finance records. Subcontract Manufacturing Generate production work orders and support related production administration. Issue inventory to subcontract manufacturing, tracking serialised components and stock movements. Receive finished goods into stock and liaise with Finance on cost deviations or transactional queries. Support inventory reconciliations, stock discrepancy investigations, and vendor/product master data maintenance. Global Logistics Prepare and book intercompany shipments of Whitefox goods, including import/export documentation and trade compliance support. Liaise with logistics partners to arrange shipments to warehouses and customers, including hazardous goods where applicable. Coordinate specialist equipment shipments with the R&D team and logistics partners. Work with Project Management to allocate serialised items to projects and coordinate project stock deliveries. Additional Responsibilities Contribute to the company’s strategic vision during an exciting period of growth by supporting supply chain improvements, product optimisation and the development of scalable operational processes. This will include helping to identify opportunities for efficiency, strengthen ways of working across teams and support initiatives that enable the business to grow sustainably and effectively. Be a key part of the ESG team supporting supply chain data collection and carbon accounting activities. Maintain records and documentation in line with internal controls, audit requirements and agreed processes. Qualifications and Professional Experience Required Education: Educated to GCE or Degree Level, CIPS Level 3 or 4 desirable Experience: 2-5 years in Supply Chain or Logistics Demonstrable experience of relationship-building with internal stakeholders and external suppliers Travel: Occasional international travel Location: London Competencies Highly organised, accurate and detail-focused, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow agreed processes. Self-motivated and proactive, with a practical approach to issue resolution and continuous improvement. Strong communication skills and confidence liaising with internal teams, suppliers, subcontractors, logistics partners and customers. Comfortable working with ERP systems, purchasing records, inventory transactions and shipment documentation. Awareness of import/export documentation, trade compliance, hazardous goods requirements and internal control expectations.
