Description The Data Coordinator will support a critical data cleanup and preparation initiative focused on enabling USMCA product qualification activities. This role is responsible for improving the accuracy, completeness, and organization of product and supplier data across multiple business systems. The position will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify, validate, and compile information necessary to establish a reliable data foundation for future trade compliance qualification efforts. This is a project-based assignment focused on data integrity and readiness rather than performing trade compliance or USMCA qualification analysis. CORE FUNCTIONS Review, organize, and cleanse Bills of Material (BOMs) to ensure data accuracy and completeness. Identify, investigate, and resolve missing, inconsistent, or inaccurate product and material master data. Validate supplier information and compile supplier contact information for purchased components. Partner with Purchasing, Engineering, Finance, Operations, and other business functions to collect and verify missing information. Assist in validating material costs and compiling required cost elements, including labor and manufacturing overhead data. Extract, consolidate, and reconcile data from multiple ERP systems and other business applications. Develop tracking tools, dashboards, and status reports to monitor project progress and data completion. Document data sources, assumptions, and validation processes to ensure transparency and repeatability. Create a clean, organized, and well-documented dataset suitable for handoff to a future Trade Compliance Analyst or third-party USMCA qualification provider. Recommend opportunities to improve data quality and governance where appropriate. Perform other project-related analytical duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS Education and Experience Associate's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 2+ years of experience in data analysis, manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, or a related analytical role. Required Licenses None Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP, Power Query, formulas, filtering, and data manipulation. Experience extracting, organizing, validating, and analyzing large datasets. Experience working with Bills of Material (BOMs), product master data, or manufacturing data. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting project deadlines. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Experience analyzing data within manufacturing or distribution environments. Experience with multiple ERP systems (such as Manhattan, Great Plains, Infor, or similar) preferred Experience with supplier or procurement data preferred Experience using Power BI or similar business intelligence and reporting tools preferred Knowledge of product costing concepts. Familiarity with USMCA, trade compliance, or customs data (preferred but not required). Travel No travel required. Produces complete, accurate, and well-documented deliverables within established timelines. Initiative – Works independently with minimal supervision while proactively identifying tasks, anticipating obstacles, and driving projects to completion. SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES Individual Contributor: working team member with no oversight of others and no management responsibilities. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS This position is subject to sedentary work; e xerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
