About the role: Reporting to the Supply Chain Finance Director and based in Auckland, you will be a key finance partner to our Manufacturing, Operations and Supply Chain teams, providing financial insight and commercial support to help drive performance across our New Zealand operations. This is a broad and influential role where you’ll go beyond traditional finance to understand what is happening across our manufacturing and supply chain operations, translate data into meaningful insights, and help leaders make better business decisions. More specifically, you will be involved in: Partnering with Manufacturing, Operations and Supply Chain leaders to provide financial insight on plant performance, cost drivers, efficiency, yield and losses. Leading manufacturing costing and inventory management, including standard costing, inventory valuation, provisions and manufacturing variance analysis. Supporting month-end reporting, budgeting and forecasting across manufacturing and supply chain, providing clear analysis of performance and financial outcomes. Identifying and tracking productivity and cost-saving opportunities, working with operational leaders to quantify benefits and drive continuous improvement. Providing financial support for CAPEX, transformation and continuous improvement initiatives, including business cases, financial modelling, investment reviews and benefits realisation. Working closely with Operations and Engineering teams on capacity planning and investment decisions, ensuring financial discipline and strong commercial outcomes. Driving improvements to finance processes, controls, reporting and analytics, partnering with IT and data teams to enhance systems and ways of working. About you: Significant experience in operations or supply chain finance, ideally within a manufacturing environment, with strong cost accounting and commercial finance experience. Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights. Demonstrated experience across manufacturing costing, inventory, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting. Strong commercial acumen and the ability to confidently partner with and influence senior leaders and operational stakeholders. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across Finance, Manufacturing, Operations and Supply Chain. Experience working with ERP and EPM systems; Oracle experience would be advantageous. A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a natural aptitude for problem solving, innovation and continuous improvement. A CA, CIMA or CPA qualification and an undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance.
