Role Overview

A fast-growing international health and wellness brand operating across global markets is seeking a Supply & Demand Planner to join their remote team in South Africa. Operating in a high-growth environment, this role offers direct operational impact as the organisation expands its international retail and e-commerce footprint.

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will take full ownership of demand forecasting, supply planning, and inventory optimisation across multiple warehouse locations. You will partner cross-functionally with commercial, finance, and marketing teams to build data-driven forecasts, mitigate supply risks, and maintain stock availability to support continued commercial expansion.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop demand forecasts using historical sales data, promotional calendars, and commercial inputs.
• Build supply plans that align inventory levels with forecasted demand while preventing overstocking and stock-outs.
• Monitor inventory performance across multiple global warehouse locations to optimise stock cover.
• Create and maintain operational dashboards and KPI reporting to track supply chain metrics.
• Collaborate with commercial and marketing teams to incorporate campaign launches and new product introductions into demand models.
• Analyse supply chain performance to identify operational risks, evaluate supplier performance, and build contingency plans.
• Refine forecasting methodologies and establish standard operating procedures to streamline inventory planning.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field with 3–5 years' experience.
• Proven track record in demand planning, supply planning, or inventory forecasting within an FMCG, retail, or e-commerce environment.
• Advanced MS Excel skills, including proficiency with PivotTables and Power Query.
• Hands-on experience working with ERP systems (such as Cin7) and inventory management tools.
• Demonstrated experience managing supply planning and inventory forecasting across multiple warehouse locations.
• Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools is advantageous.
