Closing Date: 03 September 2026 Contract Type: Temporary to 25 June 2027 Salary: £17,982 - £18,343 Hours: 27.5 hours per week Cambusbarron Primary School is recruiting for a temporary Support for Learning Assistant until 25th June 2027 . Cambusbarron Primary School is looking for a committed, compassionate and inspiring support for learning assistant to join our nurturing team. In this role you will join a positive and solution focussed team to assist in supporting children to engage with learning across the curriculum. You will demonstrate a commitment to develop professionally through training and provide supporting, nurturing care to your learners and staff. You will undertake a range of activities that may include general supervision, personal care and ensuring the well-being of the children under the direction of teaching staff. You will be required to work effectively 1:1, in small groups or supporting in class and outdoor learning as required. Good communication and teamwork skills are essential and you should enjoy being part of a supportive, adaptable and positive team. Experience working with children would be preferable. The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children.
