As an NDIS registered provider, Hopesway Care offers services to clients across Queensland. Team members work collaboratively to empower clients, promote independence, and enhance overall wellbeing.

Role Description This is a part-time remote role for Support Workers, providing flexible support to NDIS participants in line with their individual plans and goals. Day-to-day tasks include offering emotional and practical support, assisting clients to access community resources, and promoting social inclusion and participation. Support Workers will maintain clear and professional communication with clients, families, and other providers, and follow safeguarding and risk management procedures. The role also involves accurate documentation, reporting any concerns, and using relevant technology and systems to deliver and coordinate supports. Support Workers will uphold Hopesway Care’s values by fostering dignity, respect, and choice for every client.

Qualifications

• Experience as Support Workers in disability, community, or social care settings, with a strong understanding of NDIS principles.
• Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to build trust, listen actively, and collaborate with clients and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Safeguarding practices, including risk awareness, incident reporting, and maintaining client safety and wellbeing.
• Basic Technical Support and digital literacy skills to use remote support tools, client management systems, and communication platforms.
• Relevant certification or training in disability support, community services, or similar fields (or working toward these qualifications).
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing client needs.
• Current working rights in Australia and compliance requirements such as a valid police check and, where applicable, a Working With Children Check.
