Through continued growth, Senversa has a new opportunity for an experienced Sustainability & Climate Consultant (5-12 years experience) to join our national Sustainability and Climate services team. This is your opportunity to grow and shape your future with the support of our industry leading staff, who have a proven track record of delivering high quality, strategic, and commercially astute professional services. You will work with, and be supported by, a team of highly qualified and experienced Sustainability and Climate professionals within our Environmental Management & Approvals (EM&A) team and have access to environmental experts and auditors nationwide working on a variety of projects including on energy transition, land remediation and risk management. You will have the opportunity to work with both SMEs and large national and multinational companies across a variety of industry sectors. As a member of the Sustainability and Climate services team you will: Contribute to living the Senversa culture by assisting in creating a supportive, nurturing and exciting workplace. Support our clients in complying with the Australian Sustainability Reporting standards (ASRS), in particular AASB S2. Collaborate with colleagues and clients to deliver tailored climate risk assessments. Prepare greenhouse gas emissions analyses and NGER and NPI emissions reports. Co-author and lead sustainability reports. Support our clients in enhancing their environmental and sustainability management systems, processes and ambition. Prepare greenhouse gas and climate impact assessments as part of development approvals. Contribute to our strategic advisory services. Participate in regular liaison and networking with clients, contractors and sub-contractors. Adopt digital skills in the assistance of the delivery of our projects. Support business development. Bring an initiative to learn and develop in a multi-disciplinary environment. Project manage on time quality deliverables for client engagements. Highly desirable professional skills you will bring to the team Bachelor of Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering (e.g. Environmental /Chemical), Environmental Law, Business or other relevant major. Minimum 5 years’ consulting experience Ability to apply a risk-based approach to problem solving. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Lateral thinking, problem solving and strong collaboration and team working abilities. Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with peers, direct reports and clients. A client focused collegiate approach to business development. Experienced project manager. An understanding of the relationship between climate, nature, sustainability on business outcomes A passion for making a positive impact Previous experience in a similar role. We will also tailor the level of responsibility to your years of experience, to provide you with a comfortable challenge. Location The preferred location is Melbourne/Geelong, Adelaide or Brisbane.
