Bankers without Boundaries (BwB), an innovator in global finance, is an investment banking, asset management and advisory firm focused on delivering value to our clients that benefit the environment and society. Founded in 2013, BwB is powered by former investment bankers and is a not for profit, with operations in Ireland, the United Kingdom & Singapore. BwB serves the financial needs of governments, institutional clients, corporates, high net worth individuals, cities, and foundations worldwide in meeting the most pressing social and environmental challenges. This is an internship of up to 6 months, expected to start in mid to late August 2026. Candidates must be based in Nairobi and have access to a home office setup that supports full-time remote work. Responsibilities Detailed high-level report writing around different sustainable finance topics including clean energy, debt, sustainable transport, sustainable sovereign debt, built environment and other major impact investment themes Organising events, project management and stakeholder management Working on multiple projects and ensuring deliverables are completed before deadlines Preparing presentations and documents in support of BwB advisory work Developing revenue and cost models, transactional due diligence and structuring High-level research of key data points in projects Support the design and execution of development and climate-aligned investment solutions Conduct research and analysis across health, education, energy and agriculture sectors Skills required Excellent interpersonal and effective communication skills Passion for sustainable development and on the role that finance can play Highly motivated with a desire to learn and develop professional competencies Able to work independently ensuring deliverables are completed accurately and satisfy deadlines set Proficient when it comes to report writing and managing timelines Team player willing to adapt to new challenges in a fast entrepreneurial environment Some examples of desirable skills include research, presentation building, and financial modelling. Experience or demonstrated capability in any of these areas would be viewed positively Proficiency in English is required, mastery of a second language is highly desirable A recent graduate , ideally with a background in Sustainable Finance, Climate Change, or International Development. Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) The role is fully remote, home office based. The closing date for applications is 9 August 2026.
