Salary Range: $120,000.00 To $145,000.00 Annually Accurate Group, an Industry leader in technology-driven appraisal management and title services is seeking a dynamic SVP, Director of Valuation, Quality, and Review. The SVP, Director of Valuation, Quality and Review will oversee all quality review and training activities related to evaluation and appraisal services. Responsibilities include the management and oversight of all teams responsible for reviewing traditional and proprietary appraisal products including desktop, GSE and evaluation product lines. This individual is responsible for maintaining and enforcing review and regulatory procedures, developed in conjunction with operations management, Accurate's COO and Chief Appraiser. Additionally, this individual will manage the day-to-day review teams, maintaining responsibility for product quality, compliance and performance metrics across customer lines. The Director of Valuation, Quality and Review is responsible for assuring that all appraisals and reviews meet current Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) requirements as well as developing and overseeing training material for bias and fair housing guidelines. Finally, this individual also holds responsibility as to maintaining compliance with State AMC boards and may be asked to act as a controlling person in multiple states while maintaining a certified appraisal license in good standing. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Oversee all appraisal quality review departments responsible for appraisal reviews of 1-4 Residential Properties for loan origination, refinancing, loan purchasing and portfolio accounts in compliance with the client and regulatory guidelines. Develop Policies and Procedures as required to provide superior quality and remain in good standing with regulatory bodies. Work with the Chief Appraiser and the Executive Team to implement appraisal compliance with Federal regulations. Work with the Valuation Operational Teams to develop procedures for engagement of Appraisers and reconsiderations of Value. Maintain compliance with all regulatory and State AMC requirements, including acting as the controlling party where appropriate. Supervise all internal Reviewers and external contract Reviewers for 1-4 Residential Properties ensuring client quality metrics are met and exceeded. Maintains State Certified Residential Licenses where required. Adhere to all applicable compliance regulations, including BSA, BPA and Right to Financial Privacy. Work in conjunction with senior management to ensure proper knowledge of all relative compliance topics, monitor activities and report issues. Follow directions from management, Chief Appraiser and Chief Compliance Officer for resolution of issues. Other duties as assigned. Successful candidates will have the following proven skills: Bachelor’s degree is required More than 10 years’ experience in related field and/or training REQUIRES CURRENT CERTIFIED RESIDENTIAL LICENSES IN SEVERAL STATES Needs strong understanding of the appraisal process including regulatory requirements on both the appraisers and AMC’s. Must have general office skills such as telephone systems, organizational skill sand general knowledge of Windows based computer programs Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
