Your Role
As a System Administrator, you will:
Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and enterprise applications.
Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity to ensure optimal infrastructure operations.
Perform regular system updates, patching, and preventive maintenance.
Troubleshoot and resolve system, server, and application-related issues in a timely manner.
Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes to ensure business continuity.
What You Need
Non-negotiables
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
3+ years of experience in system administration or infrastructure support roles
Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux server environments
Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
Familiarity with networking fundamentals and system security best practices
Preferred Skills/expertise
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python)
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, Splunk)
Experience with backup solutions and disaster recovery planning
Exposure to ITIL processes and enterprise IT environments
