Job Description System Architect Your Tasks Develop and communicate the architectural vision for data, analytics, and AI solutions within our Agile Release Train (ART) Design the target architecture for data products, data platforms, and analytical applications Provide technological guidance for the evolution of our cloud data platform Define architecture guidelines, standards, and guardrails Coach and support teams in architectural decision-making and the implementation of technical solutions in their day-to-day development work Identify and prioritize architectural enablers and technical debt Support Program Increment planning and strategic initiatives Ensure scalability, security, performance, and maintainability of our solutions while continuously advancing security standards together with the teams Monitor technology trends and evaluate and experiment with emerging technologies for strategic adoption within the ART Collaborate closely with Enterprise Architects and System Architects across other ARTs to harmonize architecture standards and solution approaches Work closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, the Release Train Engineer, and development teams while facilitating architecture and engineering communities Foster modern engineering practices through the effective use of AI-enabled development tools Your Profile Several years of experience as a Solution Architect, Lead Architect, System Architect, or Enterprise Architect Strong expertise in modern cloud architectures on Azure and/or AWS Hands-on experience with: Snowflake, dbt, Cloud platforms (preferably AWS and Azure), Data Warehousing, Data Mesh / Data Products, API and integration architectures, AI-assisted software development and engineering practices, Metadata management, data catalogs, and semantic data modeling Knowledge of scaled agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe or comparable approaches) Experience with architecture frameworks and methodologies such as TOGAF, arc42, or C4 Proven track record of working with multiple development teams Strategic mindset and the ability to analyze complex problems systematically Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills Ability to influence without formal authority Passion for connecting people and driving technical excellence Strong sense of ownership and accountability Fluent in German and English skills (C1 level preferred) Flexible working hours Flexitime arrangements and flexible working time models allow for a perfect work-life balance – however it suits you.
