As our company grows, maintaining strong information security, compliance, and governance practices becomes increasingly important. As a Senior System Audit Analyst, you’ll play a key role in assessing and improving Avature’s security and compliance posture.
Working closely with technical and business stakeholders, you’ll plan and execute internal audits, coordinate external audits and certifications, support customer security assessments, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our security and compliance programs.
Your Challenges And Objectives
- Ensure Avature maintains compliance with applicable information security standards, certification requirements, and customer commitments.
- Contribute to the continual improvement of Avature's Information Security Management System (ISMS) and governance framework.
- Strengthen the organization's audit readiness by improving evidence quality, documentation, and control traceability.
- Promote consistency in the interpretation and application of security and compliance requirements across the organization.
- Build trusted relationships with auditors, customers, and internal stakeholders by providing accurate, timely, and well-supported audit responses.
- Identify opportunities to improve governance processes and increase the effectiveness of security and compliance controls.
- Stay current with emerging regulatory requirements and industry best practices to support the evolution of Avature's compliance program.
Your Day-to-day Activities
- Plan and execute internal audits and control assessments to evaluate the design and effectiveness of information security controls.
- Coordinate external audits, certification activities, walkthroughs, and evidence requests.
- Prepare, maintain, and organize audit documentation, evidence, control mappings, compliance records, and status reports.
- Monitor audit findings, corrective action plans, remediation activities through completion.
- Communicate audit observations and recommendations to stakeholders, supporting the implementation and tracking of corrective actions.
About You
- Experience in IT audit, information security, GRC, compliance, or a related field.
- Familiarity with internal and external audit processes, including control assessments, evidence review, walkthroughs, findings, and remediation.
- Experience interpreting security, compliance, and customer requirements and documenting supporting controls.
- Knowledge of security controls across areas such as access management, encryption, network security, data security, configuration management, and vulnerability management.
- Familiarity with frameworks such as ISO 27001, ISO 27017, SOC 2, NIST 800-53, Cyber Essentials, or similar.
- Strong analytical, organizational, writing, and documentation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Comfortable using AI tools in day-to-day work and interested in staying up to date with emerging AI capabilities.
