WI-REMOTE Worker Type: Regular Job Summary: Implements infrastructure to include capacity planning, high available systems, disaster recovery plans, system maintenance/patching plans, system backup plans, system performance, system documentation, and system alerts to ensure business continuity and data security. Mentors associate level staff. Job Responsibilities and Requirements: PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Monitors and works support queue. Conducts hardware and software deployment, upgrades, patching, backup, and recovery. Performs a variety of tasks associated with the installation, maintenance, security and repair of hardware and software. Performs infrastructure and application documentation. Reviews systems and practices to ensure compliance with procedures and standards. Provides technical support for problems and changes. Mentors and trains others on team. Manages complex infrastructure projects. Remains current in technical area or discipline via annual technical training and/or technical certifications. Resolves and reports on issues. Performs other duties as assigned. EDUCATION Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent years of experience and education EXPERIENCE Three years' experience within area of discipline PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements. Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors. Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc. Frequent keyboard use/data entry. Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping. Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs. Rare climbing.
