Systems Engineer

Job Description Overview As AtkinsRéalis Australia embarks on expansion into the Defence industry, the Systems Engineer will be an integral part of enabling a Defence business in Australia. Based from Adelaide, and supported by a mature global team, the successful candidate will benefit from guidance and experience of technical leads from other parts of the global business to grow the Australian business. Your role The Systems Engineer is a key role that will provide external and internal facing technical and engineering services across the System Engineering and assurance spectrum. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Act as a technical consultant for assignment delivery to the contractual requirements Manage client relationships related to assignments Implementation of systems engineering best practice to nationally important programmes Add technical expertise to large, complex and strategically important bids and proposals for projects across Australia. Contribute to development of innovative ideas which deliver service and product growth, client satisfaction improvement or operational performance improvement and for championing the implementation of those ideas About you Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline Experience in requirements derivation and elicitation Experience in requirements management in a defence or infrastructure environment Experience in conducting verification and validation activities, and test and evaluation planning Proficiency in industry standard requirements management toolset(s) - preference for IBM DOORS NG Rewards & benefits Explore the rewards and benefits that help you thrive – at every stage of your life and your career.
