The Systems Engineer II administers, maintains, and supports enterprise information technology infrastructure, including network, server, storage, and data environments. The role monitors system performance, implements infrastructure solutions, supports business continuity and security, and collaborates with technical stakeholders to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient technology operations that support organizational objectives. On a typical day, you might: Administer enterprise infrastructure, including network, server, storage, and data environments to support reliable technology operations. Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity to identify issues and recommend improvements. Implement infrastructure enhancements, upgrades, and configuration changes to improve performance, security, and reliability. Maintain backup, recovery, and business continuity processes to support data availability and disaster recovery objectives. An applicable information technology certification is required when qualifying through a high school diploma, GED, or Associate's degree pathway. Applicable certification(s) including Microsoft data systems certifications CSTP, ISTQB, ASTQB, MTA, MCSA, MCSD, MCSE, ITIL v3, Power BI, as well as INFORMS, IIBA, AWS, Azure, or equivalent certifications will be accepted. Must have a valid driver’s license. Must reside within North Carolina.
