Role Overview:

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Systems & Infrastructure Specialist to work on a contract basis. The role involves maintaining and optimizing critical systems and infrastructure components to ensure seamless operations across distributed environments. Responsibilities include troubleshooting performance issues, implementing infrastructure upgrades, and supporting high-availability platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable infrastructure solutions for cloud and hybrid environments.

• Monitor system performance, diagnose bottlenecks, and apply corrective measures to prevent downtime.

• Automate routine infrastructure tasks using scripting and configuration management tools.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure with application and business requirements.

• Document system configurations, standard operating procedures, and incident responses.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud required.

• Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi required.

• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration platforms including Docker and Kubernetes required.

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack required.

• Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go required.

• Familiarity with networking concepts including VPNs, load balancers, and firewalls required.

• Prior experience supporting production environments in a contract or freelance capacity preferred.

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and their integration with infrastructure management preferred.
