Greenfields Executive Recruitment & Search is a boutique firm led by Catherine Wolfe-Coote, its Owner, Founder and Managing Director. Since 2006, Catherine has focused on senior Legal, Company Secretary and Governance appointments, working with Boards, CEOs and Chief People Officers around Australia.
Catherine stays personally involved in every senior appointment, and almost all of the firm's work comes through referrals and repeat clients. That close, hands-on approach matters most on confidential and Board-facing searches, where judgement and good stakeholder management make the difference.
Clients include ASX-listed and regulated businesses, government and Commonwealth-aligned entities, member-based organisations and not-for-profits — often at points of growth, transformation or change.
Greenfields sits between a traditional agency and a headhunting firm. We work on both retained and contingent assignments from mid-level upwards, placing individual leaders and building whole teams.
About the Role
We're looking for a Talent Acquisition Associate to work directly with Catherine, supporting her across executive search, recruitment and the day-to-day running of the business.
The role is based three days a week in our stunning CBD offices overlooking the Sydney Harbour Bridge, with two days working from home.
This isn't a business development or sales role as the focus is on delivery and support. It's a broad and varied position, well suited to someone who enjoys a small, professional and corporate environment where they can build strong relationships and use their own judgement.
The ideal candidate will come from a similar role in a talent acquisition team or a boutique executive search firm.
Competitive base salary + extra bonus annual leave days + discretionary bonus based in personal performance and company achievement.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the Owner, Founder and Managing Director with day-to-day business priorities
- Client events, lunches, marketing and thought leadership initiatives
- Using AI tools and emerging technology to improve efficiency, automate processes and streamline workflows
- Attending assignment briefings and role scoping
- Preparing client engagement letters
- LinkedIn adverts and advanced searching using LinkedIn Recruiter
- Market research and mapping
- Candidate screening, interviewing and preparing summary notes
- Arranging meetings, booking rooms and coordinating search processes
- Requesting documentation and completing reference checks
- Ongoing database management and hygiene
- Vendor forms and portal uploads
- General administrative and operational support
- Ad-hoc projects, which will vary in nature
About You
- Experience in talent acquisition, or boutique executive recruitment and search
- An interest in C-suite roles, Legal and Governance functions
- Comfortable in a small, professional and fast-moving environment
- Outstanding organisational, operational and administrative skills
- Intellectually curious, and comfortable in both strategic and operational conversations
- Able to pick up new technical areas and complex concepts quickly
- Excellent relationship building and a service-oriented approach
- Resilient and flexible, with the ability to pivot quickly
- Happy working autonomously as well as collaboratively
- Genuinely interested in AI, new systems and best-in-class tools
- High EQ and a sense of humour
