Working as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator Our HR Services department is seeking a collaborative, detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our Talent Acquisition, Immigration, and Records team. Provide end-to-end administrative coordination, from requisition intake to offer generation, ensuring seamless hand-offs and consistent compliance with collective agreements. Act as the primary point of contact for the Staff Service Centre, the TAIR team and hiring committees; proactively guide stakeholders on recruitment policy, advertising best practices, ticket inquiry triage and posting timelines. Develop and curate job postings that reflect university branding and inclusive hiring standards, ensuring external reach aligns with our recruitment procedures and program requirements to attract top talent. Work with hiring managers and HR Partners, to verify recruitment services and posting requests, confirm hiring approvals, and provide guidance on best practices for posting and advertising options in alignment with recruitment goals. Maintain high-level accuracy in Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC), documentation verification and retention, ensuring data integrity for metrics, reporting and hiring process compliance requirements. Facilitate interview logistics, including scheduling and preparation of materials, while providing timely and professional support to internal and external stakeholders. Contribute to process refinements and system improvements, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows to reduce friction and improve the candidate and hiring manager experience. A certificate in Human Resources or related field Minimum 1 year of experience in a Human Resources and/or recruitment specialization (e.g. Recruitment, Talent Acquisition, Staffing Agency, etc) is required, additional experience will be seen as an asset. Direct experience working in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is strongly desired. Proven ability to learn complex business processes, interpret policies, and apply them consistently. Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume tasks with strong attention to detail including advanced skills working in spreadsheets and trackers. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and engage effectively with a diverse, multicultural university community. Strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing deadlines, and work effectively both independently and within an integrated service team. Proficiency in Google Suite, Adobe, Oracle, and an aptitude for learning new computer applications and enterprise systems. A strong understanding of relevant Canadian legislation, collective agreements, and HR handbooks including experience in large, complex, unionized environments is an asset. French language proficiency (reading/writing/speaking) is considered a strong asset but not required to be successful in this role.
