Talent Acquisition Specialist - Temporary 14-month

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team for a 14-month temporary position. Whether you already have recruitment experience or bring transferable skills from HR, coordination, customer-facing, or other people-focused roles, this could be a great opportunity to develop your expertise in Talent Acquisition within a highly technical and international environment. Role and Responsibilities As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will help us identify, attract and hire great people across our teams. You will work closely with hiring managers and the HR team while gaining exposure to recruitment across Canada, the United States, France, Germany and the UK. Your responsibilities will include: Managing recruitment activities from candidate sourcing and screening through interviews, references and offers. Sourcing active and passive candidates for Engineering, Software, IT, Sales and other corporate positions. Partnering with hiring managers to understand their teams, hiring priorities and the skills needed for each role. Building candidate pipelines through LinkedIn Recruiter, networking, online research and other sourcing channels. Coordinating interviews and maintaining strong communication with candidates and hiring teams throughout the process. Providing candidates with a professional, engaging and positive experience from first contact through hiring. Supporting employer branding and recruitment marketing initiatives. Supporting the onboarding process to help new employees have a smooth and positive start at Maya HTT. Coordinating our internship program and developing relationships with universities and schools. Contributing ideas to continuously improve our recruitment processes and candidate experience. You will work with Ashby, a modern, data-driven Applicant Tracking System (ATS) that helps us streamline recruitment, automate administrative tasks and create a better experience for candidates and hiring teams. What We're Looking For You could be a great fit if you have: A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Communications, or another relevant field. Experience in recruitment, HR, coordination, customer service, sales, university relations, or another people-focused environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills and confidence interacting with candidates and hiring managers. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow-ups. Curiosity and an interest in learning about technical roles, people and different areas of our business. A proactive mindset and willingness to learn new tools and processes. Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately. Experience with recruitment, or an ATS is an asset, but not required. Most importantly, we're looking for someone who enjoys connecting with people, is curious, organized and motivated to learn.
