About Us
Hozah is a tech-led, award-winning company driving change in the parking industry and reimagining urban mobility. Our platform automates parking operations end-to-end enforcement, payments, signage, and customer experience for landowners, operators, and local authorities, replacing manual, paper-based processes with software. Our mission is simple but powerful: to transform parking into a seamless, automated experience, paving the way for smarter, more sustainable cities. With recent recognition as PayTech Company of the Year, a place among Deloitte's Top 50 Fastest Growing Tech Companies in the UK, and significant VC/PE investment, we're scaling rapidly.
Role Overview
A newly created role supporting all recruitment needs across the business, working with the Head of People and Development to manage hiring end-to-end job postings, direct sourcing, CV screening, initial screening interviews, and coordinating smoothly through to onboarding.
This role sits within the People team and is the day-to-day engine room for recruitment at Hozah, managing live vacancies, running first-line screening, and keeping every hiring manager's process moving.
You'll own the recruitment platforms and applicant tracking (Asana) end-to-end, making sure every live role has an accurate, up-to-date pipeline that hiring managers and the Head of People can trust at a glance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage job postings across LinkedIn, Indeed, and other platforms, keeping adverts accurate and current, and switching them off once a role is filled.
- Actively source candidates directly; LinkedIn, job boards, and networking, reducing the business's reliance on expensive recruitment agencies.
- Screen CVs and applications against each role's must-haves, and run initial screening interviews to test fit before passing candidates to hiring managers.
- Partner with department heads and directors to understand hiring needs, and support them in building clear, accurate job briefs and specs.
- Own and maintain the applicant tracking system (Asana) for every live role, keeping pipelines, stages, and candidate notes accurate and current.
- Help promote Hozah as a great place to work, supporting employer branding to attract stronger direct applicants and reduce agency spend over time.
- Coordinate with the Head of People and Development on onboarding, ensuring a smooth handover from offer acceptance through to a candidate's first day.
Skills & Qualifications
Essential
- Proven in-house recruitment experience (not purely agency-side), across a diverse range of roles.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable building relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and directors alike.
- Highly organised, with experience managing multiple open roles simultaneously and keeping an ATS accurate and up to date.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced SME environment where priorities can shift quickly.
- Confident sourcing candidates directly via LinkedIn, job boards, and networking, without over-relying on agencies.
Preferred
- Experience recruiting across a mix of commercial, technical/operational, and support roles.
- Experience with Asana or a similar project-management tool used as an ATS.
- An interest in employer branding and building a company's reputation as a place to work.
- Experience in a scale-up or SME environment going through rapid headcount growth.
What We Offer
- Salary of £55,000 - £65,000, depending on experience.
- Hybrid working — 3 days in the office, 2 days from home.
- A newly created role with real ownership over recruitment end-to-end, reporting directly into the Head of People and Development.
- The chance to shape recruitment process and employer brand from close to first principles as Hozah scales.
