Tax Consultant (Steuerberater) - (m/w/d) Remote

About the role

We are looking for a German tax advisor (Steuerberater) to support our founder and company with ongoing tax and accounting matters.

The collaboration starts with a consultation regarding an international management board remuneration from an Estonian company and will continue as a long-term partnership.

Responsibilities

• Advise on German tax compliance for international income
• Support freelancer registration and communication with the Finanzamt
• Prepare and submit VAT returns
• Prepare annual tax returns
• Provide ongoing tax planning and accounting support
• Advise on cross-border matters involving Germany and Estonia

Requirements

• Licensed German Steuerberater or qualified tax advisor
• Experience with freelancers (Freiberufler)
• Experience with international taxation
• Familiarity with Germany–Estonia cross-border taxation is a plus
• Fluent in German or English
