Director of Tax - Lead Global Tax Strategy and Financial Reporting Step into a high-impact leadership role where you will shape the global tax strategy for an innovative, publicly traded technology leader. What Makes This Role Great You will serve as a key financial leader, directly influencing Trimble's global tax strategy, guiding the U.S. Tax Operations team, and driving critical decision-making across complex domestic and international M&A transactions. Key Exciting Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end quarterly and annual global income tax provision process (ASC 740) and oversee SEC tax disclosures. Provide strategic forecasts and guidance regarding future effective tax rates and cash taxes to executive leadership. Drive U.S. federal and state compliance alongside comprehensive tax due diligence and post-acquisition integration for M&A activities. Manage, mentor, and develop the U.S. Tax Operations team to foster professional growth and operational excellence. Essential Skills & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, with 12+ years of combined experience in a major public accounting firm and the technology industry. Extensive expertise in ASC 740, US GAAP, and fundamental US tax principles, including international, state, and local tax. Proven leadership and management experience with the ability to guide technical teams and communicate complex tax issues across all organizational levels. CPA - Certified Public Accountant License Bonus Points For Master’s degree in Taxation. Experience with AI applications in corporate tax functions. This compensation range is based on a full time schedule.
