#LI-DE1 #LI-Hybrid Essential Functions and Primary Duties Client Management Serve as the primary point of contact for private equity clients. Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their financial goals and objectives. Provide personalized tax planning and advisory services tailored to the unique needs of each client. Tax Planning and Strategy Develop and implement comprehensive tax strategies for private equity clients. Stay current on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and maximize tax efficiency. Advise clients on various tax-related matters. Team Leadership Manage and lead a team of tax professionals, including tax managers, senior tax consultants, and other staff. Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members. Oversee the workflow and ensure timely and accurate delivery of tax services. Compliance Ensure that tax returns as well as related documents are prepared accurately and filed on time. Navigate the complexities of clients’ tax strategies, challenges and provide solutions. Review complex tax returns and financial statements. Coordinate with other departments to gather necessary information for tax compliance. Business Development Identify opportunities to expand the firm's private equity tax practice. Participate in business development activities, including networking events and client presentations. Work with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and strategies. Risk Management Assess and mitigate potential risks associated with tax planning and compliance. Implement internal controls and best practices to ensure high-quality service delivery. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree preferred in Accounting, Taxation or related field. Extensive experience in tax planning and compliance, with a focus on private equity clients. Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to manage and develop a team. Exceptional communication and presentation skills. Business development and client relationship management experience. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree required 8 years of experience in public accounting or related field 6 years of supervisory experience Must have active CPA or equivalent certification Ability to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments and prioritize each assignment as necessary Proficient use of applicable technology Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally Proven high level of business integrity, client service and leadership skills Must be able to travel based on client and business needs
