Ampersand Therapy is hiring a part-time, fully remote Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to support students enrolled in an online school program in Colorado. This position also requires Orientation and Mobility (O&M) certification to support students with visual impairments in developing safe navigation, mobility, and independence skills. In this role, you’ll provide virtual direct services, consultation, and collaboration to help students with visual impairments access their curriculum and participate successfully in their educational program. You’ll work closely with teachers, families, special education teams, and related service providers in a collaborative online environment. Why Join Us Competitive hourly pay up to $60/hour Fully remote position supporting an online Colorado school Flexible part-time schedule W-2 employment with liability insurance included Reimbursement for licensure and professional expenses Supportive and collaborative team environment Work with a therapist-owned and operated company What You’ll Do Provide virtual TVI and Orientation & Mobility services to students Support students with visual access to curriculum and online learning Collaborate with IEP teams, teachers, families, and related service providers Support accommodations and accessible educational materials Provide instruction related to Braille, assistive technology, and visual access strategies as appropriate Support orientation, mobility, navigation, and independent living skills Participate in virtual IEP meetings and multidisciplinary collaboration Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records What We’re Looking For Active Colorado CDE certification with Teacher of the Visually Impaired endorsement Orientation and Mobility (O&M) certification required Experience working with K–12 students preferred Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Ability to provide effective services in a fully remote environment Comfortable working independently with a flexible, part-time caseload Passion for supporting students with visual impairments About Ampersand Therapy Ampersand Therapy is a therapist-owned and operated company built by providers who understand school-based work.
