Teaching Assistant, The Gwenna Moss Centre for Teaching & Learning In the appointment of Graduate Service Fellowship , your general duties and responsibilities will be: Provide administrative support for the enrolment of graduate students in the CGPS 4 Seasons of Reconciliation program Support and moderate synchronous and asynchronous learning activities with graduate student learners enrolled in the CGPS program Collaborate with the Gwenna Moss Centre lead and Murray Library Indigenous Librarian to deliver ongoing support for peer-facilitators, who ensure student discussions are positively framed, engage diverse perspectives, and achieve learning goals. Communicate consistently with program leads about the student progress and key learning opportunities Explore opportunities that can improve the delivery of the CGPS program and enhance student experience Assist in developing supportive materials for programming, educational content, and reports. Your general location of work will be Saskatoon - Remote and you will report to Darryl Isbsiter. Required Number of Hours : 96 hours during the academic term or 12 hours per week Duration of Employment : 2026 Fall session Course Name, Abbreviation and Number: CGPS – 4 Seasons of Reconciliation Start and End Dates: September 1 to December 31, 2026 Qualifications (Skills and Abilities) This is a fellowship position funded by the College of Graduate & Postdoctoral Studies. The pay for the position is a set rate determined by the College. Recipients must not hold any other major sources of funding (over $16,000/year) and must be registered as full-time graduate students from September 2026 to April 2027. Preference for this fellowship will be given to applicants who self-identify as Indigenous and have outstanding Indigenous academic and/or community experience. Strong and constructive interpersonal skills are essential for facilitating peer discussions and helping to guide people in positive learning journeys. Patience is a skill for assisting people who are new to reconciliation or who have a diversity of knowledges about Indigenous Peoples (from none to extensive). Good organizational skills and attention to details and deadline focus are important. In the 2026-2027 academic year, the CGPS – 4 Seasons of Reconciliation program will be delivered remotely in the fall. Therefore, all applicants will need to have access to a reliable desktop or laptop as well as a reliable highspeed internet connection. You must be registered in a graduate program.
