In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Oversee end-to-end payment processing activities, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant vendor and business payments. Review and approve payment proposals, payment registers, and supporting documentation prior to payment execution. Monitor and resolve payment exceptions, rejected transactions, duplicate payment risks, and other payment-related issues. Serve as the primary escalation point for payment inquiries and collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and banking partners to drive resolution. Ensure compliance with company policies, SOX requirements, internal controls, and audit standards across payment operations. Monitor team performance against SLAs, KPIs, and operational targets, and implement corrective actions when needed. Support account reconciliations, reporting, audit requests, and payment-related data analysis to ensure financial accuracy. Lead process improvement, automation, and transformation initiatives that enhance payment efficiency, controls, and customer experience. Manage workforce planning, workload distribution, training, and resource allocation to ensure business continuity and operational success. Lead, coach, and develop a team of Accounts Payable professionals to drive engagement, performance, and service excellence. For This Role, You Will Need: At least 6 years of working experience in Finance and Accounting, Accounts Payable, or Accounts Receivable. At least 4 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable function specifically end-to-end global payment operations, including payment execution, account reconciliation, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to resolve payment-related issues. At least 2 years of experience in handling people. Experience in handling vendor inquiries, stakeholder, and account reconciliation. Experience in handling external and internal audits. Practical knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, etc.). Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Advanced Excel, and PowerPoint). Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX). Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart: Experience working on a night shift schedule.
