Team Leader (12 month contract)

As a Service Delivery Team Leader, you will lead and support a team of care workers delivering in-home services across the Central Coast region. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will spend time supporting employees in the field, driving performance, promoting safe work practices and ensuring exceptional outcomes for clients. This is a part-time position on an initial 12 month contract, with a mix of field-based work, work from home flexibility and operational leadership responsibilities. Experience within the community, aged care or health sector will be highly regarded. Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor and develop employees. Confidence managing performance conversations and providing constructive feedback. Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills. Well-developed organisational and time management skills. Commitment to client outcomes, quality standards and safe work practices. Ability to work autonomously while managing competing priorities. Relevant leadership qualifications are desirable. The role Lead, coach and support a team of care workers. Promote a positive safety culture and support employee wellbeing initiatives. Conduct interviews, onboarding activities and inductions for new employees. Manage employee performance, attendance and compliance requirements. Complete workforce administration activities including payroll-related tasks. Support client escalations and service-related enquiries. Conduct one-to-one meetings, field assessments and team meetings. Work closely with Human Resources and operational stakeholders to support employee matters. Contribute to service improvements and operational outcomes. Participate in Contact Centre support rotations when required.
