The Opportunity: Provides direction on inventory to team members, daily Monitors inventory backlog, reviews reports (timely filing, aging, other) to ensure compliance with client protocols Maintains updated access to client systems related to account work Reviews and summarizes accounts up to a designated amount for closure based on standard operating procedure for each client Provides clear direction to team members for maintaining client specific protocols and procedures Conducts one on one meetings, monthly to provide coaching and mentoring to team members Prepares corrective action plans as needed for performance improvement Completes annual performance reviews for direct reports Demonstrates proficiency with web portals, client systems and databases as necessary to help direct team members in the resolving of accounts Proactively communicates questions and concerns to leadership for resolution Retrieves and analyze reports relating to inventory workflow to ensure the correct accounts are being worked on by team members Assists management with ad hoc inventory initiatives and other projects, as assigned Assists in training both new and existing employees, which may include contributing specific training material Escalates complex, complicated, or challenging accounts to management to ensure accounts are progressing effectively Prepares client-facing responses to specific inquiries from Client Services re: client accounts What you bring: Minimum of 2 years’ experience working for Knowtion Health or a hospital, physician practice, payer, RCM vendor or in a customer service role An aptitude for leadership A high level of professionalism An understanding of debt collection rules and regulations Adherence to HIPAA requirements Advanced computer proficiency including working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Outlook Strong organizational and documentation skills to ensure proper inventory management, timely follow-up and accurate record keeping Excellent multitasking skills Ability to work in a demanding environment Mathematical ability to calculate rates using addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division Ability to read and interpret an extensive variety of documents such as contracts, claims, patient medical records, Inpatient/Outpatient discharge summaries and reports, instructions, policies, and procedures in written (English) and diagram form The above statements are intended to provide the general nature and level of work being performed by most people assigned to the position.
