A place to make a difference: In this full-time, maximum term role until end June 2028, you’ll lead our SHIELD and Victim Connect teams to help us create lasting change for children everywhere. Y ou’ll work remotely from home when not delivering programs or attending meetings, with access to a shared office. You will make a difference by: Leading a busy, dedicated team delivering specialist counselling and support services to people impacted by violence and trauma Ensuring high-quality, client-led and trauma-informed practice that empowers clients on their recovery journey. Maintaining strong sector partnerships and community networks to maximise support and advocacy for victims. Supporting innovation, practice excellence, and programs that promote safety, accountability, and positive change when working with men. Experience in leading remote teams is highly valued. This role requires: Relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, Human Services, or a related discipline. A genuine passion to support and manage a high-performing team to meet and exceed objectives and achieve positive outcomes for children and young people. Proven experience working with victims of violent crime, domestic and family violence, and vulnerable communities using trauma-informed and strength-based approaches Strong understanding of culturally responsive practice, risk assessment, stakeholder engagement, and working with men at different stages of their healing journey A place to belong: At 54 reasons, we invest in the development and wellbeing of our people.
