Tech Lead (Contract)

About you: You care deeply about producing high-quality work that delivers real value You’re comfortable navigating ambiguity and solving complex problems collaboratively You bring strong expertise in your craft, alongside a willingness to keep learning You communicate clearly and build trust quickly with clients and teammates You’re pragmatic, adaptable and outcome-focused You value low-ego collaboration and enjoy working as part of multidisciplinary teams What you’ll bring to the table: Lead the technical element of a way of working and process audit across technology teams Work closely with product squads, including Mobile, Loyalty and AI, to understand how work flows across teams Map existing processes, identifying handover points, dependencies and integration bottlenecks Assess how modern front-end products interact with legacy backend systems and middle-layer APIs Conduct interviews and team-shadowing sessions with technical teams to understand current ways of working Build strong relationships with developers, engineers and technical stakeholders to understand challenges and opportunities for improvement Provide technical insight and recommendations to support the wider audit and transformation strategy. Coach and support developers where appropriate, helping teams identify improvements to their ways of working Work collaboratively with Product and Delivery Leads, providing the technical perspective while they manage the broader strategy and client relationships AI Statement We champion tech that helps people work smarter, but we want to get to know you!
