We are looking for a skilled and experienced Tech Lead Officer to lead our software development efforts, improve our existing platforms, and deliver high-quality solutions for both internal products and client projects.
Job Summary
The Tech Lead Officer will be responsible for overseeing software development, maintaining LivePay’s systems, fixing bugs, implementing new features, and leading technical execution for client projects. The ideal candidate should have strong software engineering skills, problem-solving abilities, and experience managing technical projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the development and maintenance of all LivePay software products.
* Identify, troubleshoot, and fix bugs and system errors.
* Improve application performance, security, and scalability.
* Design, develop, test, and deploy new features.
* Manage software architecture and ensure best development practices.
* Review code and maintain high coding standards.
* Work closely with management to plan and deliver technical projects.
* Build and manage solutions for client projects.
* Integrate payment APIs, third-party services, and financial systems.
* Monitor application uptime, performance, and system health.
* Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards.
* Maintain technical documentation and system documentation.
* Support product innovation and recommend new technologies.
* Mentor developers and provide technical guidance where needed.
* Respond quickly to technical incidents and production issues.
* Ensure all software releases are thoroughly tested before deployment.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
* 5+ years of professional software development experience.
* Experience leading software development teams or technical projects.
* Strong knowledge of backend development and API design.
* Experience with databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
* Experience with cloud platforms and Linux servers.
* Knowledge of Git and modern software development workflows.
* Understanding of cybersecurity best practices.
* Experience working with fintech or payment systems is an added advantage.
