About JRPass:

JRPass.com, 16 years old, bootstrapped, £30M revenue. We build travel platforms for millions of people who visit Japan. We are transitioning from contractor-led engineering to building a permanent team culture.

Your new part-time role:

• You work Monday to Friday, 4-5 hours daily.
• Your job is culture, standards, and team coherence - not coding volume.
• Define how this team works together.
• Hold the bar on AI-native code quality.
• Mentor four developers across Poland, Colombia, and the wider team.

What you bring:

• 8+ years building production systems.
• Led a small team.
• Deep code judgment.
• AI-native daily practice (Cursor, Claude Code).
• Comfort in remote, distributed, multi-timezone teams.

Salary (50% time commitment):

• UK-based: £42,500 - £57,500 per year
• Poland-based: €52,000 - €71,000 per year
• LATAM (Colombia, Argentina, Brazil): $43,000 - $57,000 USD per year
• Other locations: Open to discussion within a remote-first environment
