We are looking for a collaborative and people-focused leader to guide and develop a high-performing team of Salesforce Engineers. Working closely with the Engineering Manager, you will help shape requirements, design, develop and deliver technology solutions and strategies, while ensuring effective day-to-day operational support.
This role combines people leadership, technical expertise and strategic delivery. You will play a key role in ensuring our Salesforce platform remains scalable, resilient and aligned with business priorities, while fostering an inclusive team environment where colleagues can develop, contribute and thrive.

Salary
: £65000 to £75000
Leadership & Team Management
Line manage and mentor a team of Salesforce engineers, supporting performance, progression, and technical capability development
Foster a strong engineering culture focused on quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Provide technical guidance, coaching, and oversight across multiple initiatives
Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, within and outside the Engineering and Technology team, to drive alignment and collaboration between technology and business needs.
Technical & Delivery Ownership
Drive agreed elements of the engineering roadmap, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery against agreed priorities
Act as the technical design authority for data solutions, ensuring alignment with engineering standards and best practices
Platform Engineering
Enable a continuous service improvement culture, identifying and implementing opportunities to improve the status quo.
Support the definition and implementation of engineering best practices, including coding standards and development methodologies, across the team.
Promote the platform delivery roadmap to the team to ensure currency of the platform and adherence to policies and standards though innovation, enhancements and maintenance.
Technology Governance and Assurance
Working with the Engineering Manager, develop and enforce policies, standards, and procedures to ensure the security, compliance, and integrity of technology systems and data.
Maintain and report on the software risks and associated controls for the Salesforce Platform.
Create or feed into management reporting, as needed, to provide appropriate governance and control to the function.
