XEIAD is a specialist engineering inspection consultancy delivering high‑quality inspections and assessments on critical infrastructure assets. Using specialist access techniques such as rope access, diving and confined space working, their expert engineers inspect structures including bridges, tunnels and culverts, providing reliable insight to help asset owners manage risk and maintain safety.
What will you be doing?
As a Technical Administrator for XEIAD, part of British Engineering Services Group, you will provide comprehensive administrative and technical support to our Engineering Assurance function, ensuring engineering documentation, records and business systems are managed efficiently and accurately.
You will also:
- Provide administrative and technical support to the Engineering Manager and Engineering Assurance team, helping to ensure the smooth delivery of engineering services.
- Coordinate, quality check and manage engineering reports and technical documentation throughout their lifecycle.
- Maintain document control processes, engineering records and electronic filing systems, ensuring accuracy, traceability and compliance.
- Produce KPI reports, management information and engineering performance data to support decision making.
- Support audits, competency records and compliance activities, helping to meet company, accreditation and client requirements.
- Maintain and enhance Microsoft 365 systems, including SharePoint, Teams, Lists and Forms, while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement

To join our team, you will need:
- Previous experience within a technical administration or office management role.
- Experience working within a fast-paced operational environment.
- Experience maintaining electronic filing systems and business records.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience using Microsoft 365 applications, including SharePoint, Teams, Lists and Forms.
