Technical Cloud Architect

Job Title: Technical Cloud Architect Location: 100% Remote (U.S.) Position Type: Full-time, Direct W2 Salary Range: $100,000–$150,000 Annually Experience Required: 6+ years Sponsorship: U.S. Citizens, Green Card Holders, EAD Holders, and H-1B transfer candidates are encouraged to apply. We are unable to sponsor new H-1B visa petitions for this position. Key Responsibilities Design end-to-end cloud solutions across compute, networking, storage, identity, and data services. Lead architecture reviews and define cloud standards, landing zones, and reusable reference architectures. Design secure cloud networking, identity, compliance, and governance frameworks. Architect cloud migration, modernization, and application transformation initiatives. Drive cloud cost optimization, FinOps, and capacity planning. Produce architecture documentation, including diagrams and technical design artifacts. Collaborate with security, engineering, and business teams to deliver scalable cloud solutions. Mentor engineering teams and evaluate emerging cloud technologies and best practices. Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. 8+ years of software engineering or solution architecture experience. Strong expertise with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) . Experience with cloud networking, security, identity, containers, and serverless technologies. Experience leading cloud migration and modernization initiatives. Proven experience leading architecture reviews and technical decision-making. AWS, Azure, or GCP Cloud Architect certification. Preferred Qualifications Multiple cloud certifications. Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments. Familiarity with TOGAF or enterprise architecture frameworks.
