Gather integration and automation requirements and lead solution design jointly with customer business and technical stakeholders. Share best practices on deployment models, governance, integration design and build; partner with Product and Engineering on platform feedback. Act as a trusted advisor and customer advocate. Run post-onboarding health checks and guide customers on integration and process optimizations. Contribute reusable content — presentations, demos, best practices, architecture patterns and online courses — for customers and the extended team. Manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously while delivering an outstanding customer service experience. Requirements 5+ years of hands-on experience in solutions and implementation consulting. Working knowledge of integrations, system design principles and app integration industry trends. Working knowledge of SQL on-prem and cloud deployment models and the SDLC end-to-end. Experience with one iPaaS (Workato, Tray, TIBCO, Boomi, MuleSoft, WebMethods, Oracle Integration Suite). Ability to produce quality technical documentation. Plus: experience with JS frontend/backend; OEM/embedded SaaS or iFrame integration. Competencies Technical & Solution Competencies Integration Development — Independently builds multi-step integrations across enterprise apps; applies authentication, error handling, version control and reusable components; participates in CI/CD and peer code review. Solution Architecture & System Design — Performs gap analysis and designs end-to-end workflows using standard patterns (hub-and-spoke, event-driven); balances scalability, maintainability and security; documents decisions clearly. Workato Platform & Recipe Engineering — Builds conditional, error-handled recipes with role-based access and encrypted fields; uses custom connectors and HTTP modules; manages staging-to-prod lifecycle to Workato best practices. Emerging Technical & Domain Competencies AI Systems & Enterprise Intelligence — Understands how AI models, Genies and automation layers interconnect; uses prebuilt AI connectors within governed environments; aware of AI ethics, privacy, bias and transparency. Governance & Architecture Standards — Familiar with reference architectures and governance frameworks (e.g., GEARS); documents design decisions for traceability; understands how governance impacts project outcomes. Customer Domain & Industry Knowledge — Researches customer industry processes and terminology; uses customer vocabulary accurately; connects domain context to solution design with guidance from domain experts.
