Position Overview The Technical Consultant serves as a trusted technology advisor, helping organizations in the AECO industry leverage cutting-edge design and collaboration technologies to improve their project delivery processes. This position requires a unique blend of technical proficiency, industry knowledge, communication skills, and business understanding to support both pre-sales activities and post- implementation customer success. As a Technical Consultant, you'll be responsible for delivering training programs, conducting product demonstrations, providing implementation services, and offering ongoing technical support across ARKANCE US's portfolio of solutions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Customer-Facing Services (65%-80% Billable Time) • Deliver comprehensive training programs, consulting services, and implementation support for Autodesk products and other ARKANCE US solutions • Provide ongoing technical support to customers, ensuring successful adoption and utilization of technology solutions • Conduct customized technical demonstrations tailored to specific customer needs and requirements • Mentor and guide customers through complex technical challenges and workflow optimization Sales Support Activities (10%-25% Pre-Sales Time) • Partner with Sales team members to develop and present compelling product demonstrations that drive revenue growth • Conduct competitive analysis comparing Autodesk products against competing solutions throughout the sales cycle • Support trade show activities and industry events through technical presentations and product demonstrations • Follow up with technical leads to provide additional information and answer complex technical questions • Contribute to meeting ARKANCE US and Autodesk revenue objectives through effective pre-sales technical support Administrative and Development Activities (5%-10% Overhead Time) • Complete accurate weekly digital timesheet entries for project tracking and billing purposes • Participate in continuous learning initiatives to maintain cutting-edge expertise with evolving technologies • Contribute to internal process improvements and knowledge sharing initiatives Typical Time allocation Targets for Technical Consultants are as follows: o 65%-80% Billable hours o 10%-25% Pre-Sales hours o 5%-10% Overhead hours *Individual targets may vary based on assignments and initiatives tasked to the team member. Physical Requirements: • Requires prolonged period of sitting, with occasional standing • Continuous use of computers and other office equipment REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Technical Expertise • Maintain expert-level proficiency with the Autodesk family of products and other software solutions represented by ARKANCE US • Possess comprehensive understanding of how these technologies are applied within AEC&O industry workflows • Demonstrate strong knowledge of industry design and delivery processes, BIM collaboration technology, and emerging technology trends • Maintain current understanding of Architecture, Engineering, and Construction environments and practices Business and Industry Knowledge • Develop and maintain fundamental understanding of business operations within AEC&O industries • Understand how organizations deliver value to their customers through technology-enabled processes • Stay current with industry trends and best practices that impact customer success • Professional Skills • Demonstrate exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills • Exhibit superior organizational and time management abilities with proven capacity to manage multiple concurrent projects • Display proactive attitude and strong self-motivation in achieving objectives • Show flexibility and willingness to take on additional duties as needed to support customer, Autodesk, and ARKANCE US requirements Personal Attributes • Continuously pursue self-improvement in teaching, mentoring, and consulting capabilities • Maintain high personal and professional standards with strong attention to quality • Thrive in collaborative team environments while contributing to overall success • Demonstrate unwavering business ethics and commitment to maintaining ARKANCE US's respected industry reputation • Show willingness and availability for regional and national travel as required Customer Focus • Establish and maintain high levels of customer confidence and trust • Demonstrate genuine desire to contribute meaningfully to the design industry • Exhibit "make-it-happen" attitude with commitment to customer success • Show flexibility in adapting to diverse customer needs and project requirements This position offers the opportunity to work with industry-leading technology while making a direct impact on customer success in the dynamic AECO industry.
